Vice President of Sales - Hydraulics

Location: MI, IN, OH, United States
Our client is a leader in supplying hydraulic component and system solutions for industrial and mobile applications.  If you are looking to be an executive member of a team dedicated to excellence and driven to succeed, then we have the opportunity for you.
Our client currently has an opening for an Vice President of Sales.  This position is responsible for developing and achieving sales objectives, profitability objectives, and managing the sales channels and implementing programs, policies, and procedures necessary to generate continuous growth.  This position is responsible for sales activities in the Americas.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  • Overall management and direction of sales, through various channels including distribution and OEM .
  • Develop and lead growth strategies and profit for the company
  • Develop and retain strong leaders throughout the organization
  • Display exemplary leadership ability within the company and in the fluid power industry 
  • Develop and implement sales plans for all brands in line with the overall strategic direction of the company.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and company-wide growth initiatives as designated by the executive team.
  • Create annual plan and establish objectives for team in conjunction with the sales regions
  • Develop and manage sales budgets
  • Create “outside the box” strategies to effect explosive company growth
  • Collaborate with purchasing and operations to ensure appropriate inventory levels and reduce obsolete inventory
  • Build successful teams through coaching and mentoring
  • Member of the Senior Leadership Team
